First French fishing extravaganza (Week 2: 13-20 April)

Bernie, Brian, Nigel and Richard came to Barrington's for their first fishing trip in France. They fished various swims during their week and landed 14 carp to 35lb8oz and they all had personal bests. Easter week success (Week 3: 20-27 April)

Week 3. Our friends Daz and Julie came to spend the Easter weekend with us bringing chocolate eggs and other British goodies. As there was a lake exclusive until Saturday morning they slept in our bivvy Friday and from Saturday morning they fished in swim 3 and went home on Monday. Daz had 6 carp to 28lb5oz. The fish had started spawning on the Thursday before Easter so were less interested in feeding.

Marco from Germany returned for a week in the Chalet with his wife Heike and delightful daughter Leonie. Marco, with a little help from Leonie landed 29 carp to 37lb6oz from the Chalet swim and also the island on swim 7. The week started with sunny days and ended with rain.

The return of double dutch (Week 4: 27- 4 May)
